I'm famous at home for ending the life of the household appliance and whitegoods... And I always wonder why am I the ONE??

Mum's fav wok has a loose handle and she had no problem with it despite using almost everyday.. but I just merely wanted to whip up a nice dinner and the handle broke.... great~~

Dad's cellphone had a slight technical issue and I "killed" it while trying to help him fix... sweet~~

I broke the cooking rice pot's lid while trying to help mum cook rice..

And most recently, 2 fri nites ago to be exact, I broke the toilet door knob and got stuck in it for nearly an hr... very nice~ and it was 11pm when almost everyone's asleep... Luckily dad was still watching the Taiwanese's news and he heard me calling for help..... He tried ways and means.... Somehow mum knew of this incident and woke up...... suggested to call the locksmith but dad refused... said he can manage.... MEN~~ sigh... anyway, the commotion was finally over and what was supposed to be the knob was left with a hole for the night... and I got my sleep in bed, not toilet.. kekek.... What a bad experience..... AGAIN~

Never will I ever wanna lay my hands on near-faulty stuff...

I've blocked you in MSN and not replying to your sms-es.. Pls don't force me to block you from facebook too... Save some dignity for yourself.. Don't let me look down on you..

Facebook quizzes

Ever since the rise of Facebook, there has been a surge in "ooh-so-boliao" quizzes available for users to take.. From "who's ya best friend" to "how well you know so-and-so", "what should be your real name" to "where/when you will meet your right one", so many that I think it could last me 30 years at least if I were to take one everyday..

Soul Food Seoul Good

Hello!! I'm back in action again.. been missing for nearly 2mths with no updates.. Sorry about that.. :)

For a start, I shall share my recipes on 2 of my favourite dishes - Kimchi Soup and Spicy Rice Cake.. Both are relatively easy to prepare and the KCS completes a meal with a bowl of steaming hot rice.. All you need is patience and skills... muahhahaha..

Kim Chi Soup (kim chi chigae)



You need:
- Kimchi
- Pork Belly (Sliced)
- Lean Pork (Sliced)
- Soybean Sprouts
- Pressed Tofu
- Spring Onions
- Glass Noodle
- Korean Chilli Paste
- Salt/Chicken Essence Powder
- Water

Steps:-
(1) Pan-fry the pork belly over medium fire till brown and its fats start to breakdown
(2) Add water and boil for about 10-15mins before adding the kimchi
(3) Add chilli paste and lean pork; and leave to boil for another 10 min
(4) Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 mins. Serve hot.


Spicy Rice Cake (dokk pok ggi)



You need:
- Rice Cake
- Korean Chilli Paste
- Cabbage
- Onions
- Luncheon Meat
- Spring Onions

Steps:-
(1) Boil water and add chilli paste
(2) Add in cabbage and onions, and boil for about 5-10mins till the cabbage is soft
(3) Add in rice cake and luncheon meat to simmer for 10mins till the gravy is thickened. Serve hot.

As I watched Michelle Chia and Shaun Chen's wedding broadcast on Monday, I just felt so envious... What a nice wedding... Their "ooh so thoughtful" home-made chilli sambal as wedding favors.... Personal live band who sang 40 songs which are the couple's favourite incl the ones for their march in... and also sponsored bridal gown, hotel, flowers package *so shiok!*

Then last night, Angie sms-ed to share her joy... Finally Melvin proposed to her.. It was definitely a huge surprise as both she and I were intending to meet Terry and Pat for KTV at Serangoon Gardens but we decided to head home instead after shopping at Tampines.. It was a blessing in disguise as Mel was trying to contact me for assistance and unfortunately my phone was dead without battery... If we had not felt tired and went to meet the guys, I wonder how long Mel and his buddies would have waited instead...

Anyway, Melvin was really sweet to come up with this proposal plan.... I've never imagined him doing such romantic stuff.. BUT HE DID IT... *salute* For those interested to know what he did, check out this post by the blissful bride to be...

And now, because of what Mel had done and seeing my bestie walked down the aisle last Jan..... The urge in me just became stronger... 我也要。。。只希望不需等太久。。 Ha.. Ha.. Ha..
