and the lucky bride is none other than our cute cute Roanna aka Xiaomei...

No doubt we had prepared gruesome stuff for the brothers who are total strangers to us but they had their day too.... why??

and the only statement I can hear clearly was from Kris yelling..

After that, they even tried to push the door open..

Sharon and I tried to force the gate back but the guyz were pulling it out..

To make them let go.. I had to pull the "metal teeth" stunt

So, I bit the first available arm hard enough to make him release his grip..

It worked and there was one more hand...

A taller guy I suppose as I remembered biting on his upper arm..

Alfred had to sign a pre-nuptial agreement which we had specially designed..

Finally he got to open the bedroom door where his anxious bride was waiting..

A happy couple who hadn't seen each other for 24hours only..First kiss of the day..

Receiving the congratulatory blessings from all of us..
This angpow bestman was heard telling Alfred happily that he had helped to save 3 angpows..

But hey dude, if u ever get to read my blog..
I just wanna tell u...
Yes, u had helped to saved Alfred's money but u forgot to help him save his face which is the most important to him... :)

It's very heartwarming to see this special relationship shared between the king of jungle and humans. who says such only materialise in cartoons?

I don't know why but I couldn't control my tears while watching this.. probably it reminds me of Bobby who also did the same thing to me whenever I came back from a vacation..

Hello!! I'm back again this time with a so-called proper blog entry for Dec.. Tis the season to be jolly~~ since Dec is the month of sharing and giving so I've decided to share with you guys on the different sides of me...

My signature usual getup consists of T-shirt, jeans/shorts, flip flops and messy hair with a hairpin trying to keep my short fringe in place, face must be kept as bare as possible.. no image, some people might say... but who cares.. don't like then don't look at me...

Make up applies when I have to be out on client calls or when I go clubbing, but still it is only minimal "colouring"...

But on 29th Nov, I've changed temporary.. For I became a damsel in the day and a vixen in the night.. shit... I hate to use that 'v' word but I really felt like one at that moment..

And so, my concoction of damsel look includes some light makeup & gloss, neat straight hair which was just coloured and treated the day before, a pair of simple dangling earrings and a white dress.. And tah-dahhh...

This was all thanks to Roanna for if it's not her wedding, I would not added a whole white outfit into my wardrobe.. and oh man... Me becoming a dainty lady would all have been reality if I don't open my mouth and talk... :)

Next up, the highlight of this post... Not knowing how to keep my hair in place so I went down to my hairstylist salon in Far East for advice and setting... With the evening dress that I'm wearing plus the makeup, she suggested pulling my hair back and tying together with a temp perm for a sophiscated look.. Thinking it was something simple and trusting her for she's an old hand at styling Mediacorp artistes when she was with Monsoon, I gave the green light....

30mins later, I look like some star ready to walk the red carpet of fame for Star Awards...

Jaw dropped, I wasn't the only one who couldn't recognise myself... The girls were like wow wee... Gwen~~!! The guys were like "GWEN! never see u dressed like this before!" (but pls leh, i must be crazy to dress like this for our usual gatherings) The videographer didn't know I was just standing beside him until I spoke... The photographer said I've transformed 100%.. Even my bestie who saw the photo said I looked so not me...

Is that the reason why I got approached for my number? I've no idea... but sorry, I don't entertain married men..

but I had made a wish before and it came true today

I still remember it was the day

when XM told me that he is attending their wedding

I think Santa knew I had been a good girl

that's why he gave me an advanced Xmas present

I think my ancestors knew I had done them proud

that's why they gave me something in return

I think he knew I would sabotage his drinks and food that day

that's why he changed his mind

I think the One up there knew my prayers were sincere

that's why He answered them

that's why He sent XM to deliver such good news to me

that's why I was on cloud #9 when I read her sms

that's why I was so patient with longwinded customers

that's why I gave discount to the engineer when he asked for a better price

that's why I decided to share with u what I had wished for

I hoped for the opposite

I had hoped that he couldn't make it to the dinner

For he whom i'm referring to, most of you will know why I dread seeing him again

But nonetheless, lady luck is now on my side
