I heard of him the day I joined Siemens, when Kumar showed mi our team members chart.. He was away in Norway office to assist in a project then.. Then as the days passes, I heard of his name again from the BA ladies, as well as the project engineers... "Oh.. Bernardo.. Handsome chap.." "U lucky gal, got such a guy in your team.." Photos? None, the best part was Sharon said she managed to find a pic of him but when I saw it, I was like "Is this all u ladies have of him?? His backview??? Is he 赌神 or what??" Description of him from the ladies: Tall, Handsome, Cute... So this fella became a mysterious yet popular colleague whom I'm looking forward to meet.. So handsome meh?? Describe till like he's such a charmer... Occassionally, I will have the ladies asking mi when he's going to be back in office and etc.. No clue... So expectations of him are high..
And we finally met in end Sep, the day I walked into office.. The usual empty table across mine was occupied so I guessed it should be him... When we said Hello, the first thought hit mi.. "Are my expectations to high, or are the ladies too simple with their requirements?" No, he's not ugly but not that handsome la.. But definitely better looking than all the ang mohs in our department...
So, Mr B and I hit it off well amazingly... No hidden agenda or anything... We were just plain honest with each other, at least I was to him... We joked, we kicked each other... Bla bla bla... I know this wont last long as he'll soon have his own social circle of friends as time goes by... Anyway he's not my cup of tea, so who cares.. 不在乎天长地久，只在乎曾经拥有ma.. but I know there's someone out there eyeing that cup.... I know 'cos a woman's intuition is usually quite accurate... And this someone is no other than our big sis L... For the whole 3 months since I started work, I don't always see her dropping by our section.. Even when she did, she would usually be behind chatting with Sarah and never come to my table.. But when Bern returned, I see her almost everyday and she would be finding excuses to chat with mi while her eyes are prowling on him... He probably felt it, I don't know.. but I did.. it's so damn farking obvious till times I will tell her I'm really very busy at work and won't be able to entertain her.. if she wants to talk to him, please just go over to his side and stop loitering around my table as it's very distracting...
