30 days away from my big 3...

It's exactly 30 days before I begin my next decade journey.. Woohooo~! And I'm so looking forward to it...

And to commemorate this day, I had re-vamped my whole site with a fresh new look before I start a new posting of thoughts again.. Too bad about the header pic though as I dunno how to centralise it... siggghhhzzz~~

Post #85 - Hello Siemens!

Today marks the start of my 5th week in Siemens.. How time flies though I'm literally still on holiday mood as the Lotus Notes program which is gg to be my very best buddy at work has not yet been set up by HQ.. Seems like I'm also on summer holiday like the Germans too..

"enjoy while it lasts..", "are you crazy? can enjoy then enjoy first lah~" had been the most popular statement among my friends when they heard of how I spent my time in office and how boring it's getting to be...

nevertheless, I still look forward to the day I can start work officially soon..

What does it take for someone to start behaving like another? Meaning when u see A, he/she reminds you of B...

This has been bothering mi for quite a few weeks when I was back in STTP.. It took quite a while for mi to be accustomed to it, and was forgotten soon after.. Then it all came back today, when she commented on my Facebook status about how I had reminded her that she hasn't blog for quite some time too..

It all started with her consistently seeking attention fr hitch-a-ride buddy MF. I thought it was normal for her to be jealous when mi being more fugly is getting more attention from the guys in office. So obvious was her action that other colleagues noticed too.

Then comes the first sign of imitation, having the same pretty pink Nike bottle as mi which was suppose to be rare in store as that's out of the season already.. Anyway, she manage to get her hands on one.

Joining the ranks soon after was her new orange jacket which was exactly the same shade as what I wore in office since day one.. And the biggest joke of all, she actually commented in front of a few 'broadcaster' colleagues that I was wearing the same colour as her.. Hello??? Look who's talking...

Subsequently, similarities were spotted.. be it in office or online.. FB status was updated in Italian, when I did mine in Dutch a couple of hours earlier.. Though my friend said hers was a direct english-italian google translation compared to mine in native Dutch but still it was a tingling uncomfy feeling..

Then I took another experiment by changing my MSN pm shout out remarking about updating my blog.. She changed hers shortly to same same as havent been writing on her blog for some time already..

Grrr...... WhY??

I have been asking myself.. Am I thinking too much, or is she really being a copycat??

I like her as a friend for keeps, but I don't think I'm so close to her to an extent that we can be seen as twins mentally..

Need some enlightenment as I believe the world doesn't need another mi...

Please don't ask me again...

[26.03.2011 - Sat early morning, Fine]

Me: "Hey mum, I won't be home for dinner tonight. Wedding dinner to attend" Mum: "Again? Who is it this time?"
Me: "A friend. Someone you haven't met before."
Dad: "So many friends you have huh? Been giving angbaos, when is it your turn?" Mum: "Ya lor.. No chance for us to host a wedding?"
Me: "Of cos, u will have.. Just that I dunno when.. Ask gor or jie la.."
Dad: "We are talking about you..."
Me: "Oh I'm running late.. Colleague waiting for me downstairs... Byeee~~~"

Off I go, back to pathetic office for a quick pick up of my laptop to work from home today.. The only consoling thing was the brunch with the gals plus KD and ReAnne.

Conclusion - The fear of attending wedding dinners as it will give my parents the chance to ask the same old question again...... =.=

Hello 2011...

It's already the 10th day of the new year and I'm still clueless about my supposed 2011 resolutions...

Looking back, I realised I had once again matured (not just physically but mentally as well) at every single execution of events that had happened in the past 365 days of 2010.... sounds old but yah, at least I knew what I did and had done with no regrets....

Saying Hello is not as easy as it seems to be but it always turned out to be a good move...

Started my 2nd job as an Engrg Coord @ STTP on 10th May, kinda regretted taking up this position but it did scored me a few kakis in the office... These are the people why I held back my resignation...

I officially became a godmum to Kayden Wong (love bundle of Marcus and Sharon) on 20th Sept.. Can't wait for the day when he can walk and talk, so it will be easier for me to bring him around.. Hee...

Saying Goodbye to someone or something precious is always the hardest thing but I've learnt to let go... That's why good memories are always for keeps..
